Dryers

Dryer
Innovative, Efficient & Engineered for Performance

Ibha Process Technologies Pvt. Ltd. provides a broad range of industrial dryers that are made to meet the needs of various industries and material properties. Our drying systems are designed in accordance with GMP, ASME, and international safety standards and are built for efficiency, dependability, product quality, and low operating costs.

Our Range of Dryers

1. Spray Dryer

Precision Drying for Liquid Feed to Powder Conversion

In a single step, our spray dryers can turn liquid or slurry feed into dry powder. Inside a drying chamber, the atomized droplets come into contact with hot air, which causes moisture to evaporate quickly while maintaining the integrity of the product.

Applications
  • Dairy powders (milk, whey, lactose)
  • Flavors and fragrances
  • Pharmaceutical actives and intermediates
  • Enzymes and bio products
  • Food-grade starches and proteins
Technical Advantages
  • Drying Method - Atomization + hot air contact (concurrent/counter-current)
  • Temperature Range - Inlet 150°C–300°C | Outlet 70°C–100°C
  • Particle Size - 10–100 microns (adjustable based on atomizer type)
  • Design Compliance - GMP, CIP/SIP, ATEX (if required)
  • Benefits
    • Uniform particle morphology and density
    • Minimal heat stress; ideal for sensitive bio-materials
    • Automated PLC/SCADA integration for precise control
    • Available in pilot to industrial-scale capacities

2. Rotary Dryer

Heavy-Duty Continuous Drying for Bulk Solids

Our rotary dryers are designed to dry granular, crystalline, or lumpy materials continuously and with high capacity. As material passes through a revolving cylindrical drum, heat is transferred either directly or indirectly.

Applications
  • Minerals and ores
  • Coal and lignite
  • Fertilizers (Urea, DAP, SSP)
  • Waste sludges and ash
  • Industrial salts
Benefits
  • Continuous operation with low maintenance
  • Variable speed drive (VFD) for residence time adjustment
  • Internals designed to improve heat transfer (lifting flights, chains)
  • Available with bag filters, cyclones, or scrubbers for emissions

3. Fluidized Bed Dryer (FBD)

Uniform Drying with Efficient Heat and Mass Transfer

Fluidized bed dryers distribute heat evenly and remove moisture more quickly by suspending material particles in an upward hot air flow. Perfect for drying powders and granules with low heat conductivity.

Applications
  • Active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs)
  • Resins and polymers
  • Food additives and grains
  • Detergents and chemicals
  • Benefits
    • Short drying times with low energy consumption
    • Minimal product degradation due to gentle handling
    • High drying uniformity and repeatability
    • HEPA filtration and cGMP-compliant designs available

4. DDGS Dryer & Tube Bundle Dryer

Tailored for High-Moisture, Organic, and Fibrous Materials

These plants are designed to dry co-products such as DDGS (Dried Distillers Grains with Soluble) and other ethanol-based biomass materials produced by ethanol plants, breweries and feed mills. The low speed Tube Bundle Dryer is indirectly heated in order to avoid thermal shock and save the nutritional value.

Applications
  • DDGS (corn, sorghum, millet-based)
  • Starch slurries
  • Biomass and agro-residue
  • Animal feed, sludge, and compost
  • Benefits
    • Low RPM operation ensures gentle drying and longer equipment life
    • Compact footprint with modular configuration
    • High nutrient retention and final product quality
    • Excellent energy efficiency with optional heat recovery system

5. Spin Flash Dryer

Instantaneous Drying for Sticky, High-Moisture Materials

Spin Flash Dryers are designed in pasty, cake-like, or non-free flowing materials. This dryer is fast in removing moisture using mechanical agitation and high-temperature air in a vertical drying chamber in a small set-up..

Applications
  • Pigments and dyestuffs
  • Starch and modified cellulose
  • Filter cakes, sludge, resins
  • Pharmaceuticals and intermediates
  • Ceramics and kaolin
Benefits
  • Fast drying with minimal floor space
  • Handles cohesive, non-flowing feed effectively
  • Adjustable air velocity and retention time
  • Optional inert gas atmosphere for explosive materials
